Point Reyes

Today was a nice day so Joseph and I went to Point Reyes.

On the way there, we heard a clicking sound in the truck and couldn't figure out what it was. We weren't worried about what it was, but it was SO annoying that I just had to find out what it was!! So Joseph pulled off the highway and we discovered that a pen that I keep in my door was hitting the metal trim on the door... I couldn't believe that it took us an hour of listening to that dumb sound before we finally pulled over to figure it out!! The last 15-30 minutes of our drive was finally free of that annoying clicking sound!

We rode bikes for about 3 hours on a very tiring trail!! I expected nice paved trails and flat riding ground....What I got was partially muddy, gravelly, and dirt hills and valleys! I was worn out and my muscles were killing me about 2 minutes into the ride!! haha According to the signs, we rode a total of 6 miles and walked 2 miles. Joseph and I think that the signs are majorly mistaken... haha The 2 miles that we were supposed to walk, we think was more like 4 miles. But we don't know for sure.

I took a nap while Joseph drove to the Lighthouse. We both were pretty hot after our bike ride and was able to cool down on our way to the lighthouse. When we got there and got out of the truck, it was extremely windy and quite cold! I had to put on my jacket and then I was still a little cold.

After Point Reyes, we drove to Napa and went to the Firewood Cafe and had a nice, outdoor dinner since it was warm enough outside to do so. We first went to the Cafe when mom was in the hospital 6 weeks ago. Joseph ordered a sausage pizza and I got the Tortellini. It's a really neat place. It has restaurant food, like pasta's, but they are cheaper and they are smaller serving sizes. You can actually eat most- all of your food! And the seating is like fast food. You order your food at the counter, you grab your sodas and utensils and find a seat. They'll bring the food to you. So, it is like restaurant quality with the casualness of fast food!!

It is currently our favorite place to eat! =)
